Win 7 wishes consolidation

In an effort to bring all XYplorer wishes under one roof, this thread is meant to be a unified platform for wanted functionalities that arose/stayed in Vista/Win 7 Windows Explorer. When creating such a thread, it's easier to link to a good article about each functionality and show an image of it. So far the list is as follows:

This is already possible, because XY employs Explorer to do the copying, so I'd like it preserved once XY gets those functions inside of itself.

I'm sure those aren't all the features that people would like to see in XY, but it's a start. It'd be great if everyone else could keep to the same format with their wishes

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for doing a very good job in documenting this in an organized manner, especially so that us who aren't on W7 can still understand it! It was this type of presentation that helped get DP implemented.

I'd like XYplorer to expose the work of Windows's Folder Virtualization by showing a Compatibility Files button in folders where write redirection has taken place. Windows Explorer shows this button which when clicked, switches to the folder where writes where redirected to.

If one was to get real fancy, showing the content of the virtualization folder in-place in the original folder and denoted by a different color would probably take this function as far as it could go.
