Indeed it does. However, it is definitely not a norm and cannot be expected to be done on a normal basis.

I'm not quire sure what you mean: a limitation in 7-Zip's beta or the rarity that third-party software offers this?zer0 wrote:Indeed it does. However, it is definitely not a norm and cannot be expected to be done on a normal basis.

Both. This was submitted as a feature request back in 2008, but is only now trickling through to the beta (though it was possible to workaround manually). And it is rare for products to register 32-bit shell context DLLs in 64-bit versions.nas8e9 wrote:I'm not quire sure what you mean: a limitation in 7-Zip's beta or the rarity that third-party software offers this?zer0 wrote:Indeed it does. Rare indeed: I only know of Kasperksy, Avast, WinRAR, Beyond Compare and 2BrightSpark's HashOnClick and DeleteOnClick.zer0 wrote:Both. Edited to add: WinZip 15.5 also installs both 32-bit and 64-bit shell extensions.

This is really good news for me as this was the one thing I noticed missing from the context menus today after installing xy at work and I really didn't want to install both versions like I did on SVN...
And, yeah, I use Beyond Compare and that one has got it working on both versions.
