Backup logging: do you use it?

XYplorer features logged backups ever since, but never ever I heard of any user (including myself!) actually using this logging feature. I wonder whether it is total crap and should be removed. :?:

I've used backup quite often but I've never used the logging feature. It was actually a bit of an annoyance that I had to click it away every time. Especially because you have to click "Cancel" just before the backup is about to be started. ;)

 Ok...so this posting prompted me to locate and try out the Backup function finally! Never had used it as I tend to either do it via SyncBack or a manual copy/paste of those files I've updated recently...

Anyway, I now see what this post refers to...and given that I always keep my SyncBack logs for reference, I'd do same with this one...
I use the log files as a reminder of when I last did backup and also to check what it did later, given that sometimes I'm multi-tasking and may be distracted when backup is actually done...

Make it an option that can be disabled via Config/INI and then those that want it can have it, and those who are bothered by it, don't have to click thru it.

Exactly what I'm going to do.

Just to put in a vote, I've yet to use it. However, it would be useful in some contexts, such as business, to track an error by a user or where something went.

It's in Configuration/Report: "Create detailed log files for each backup".
