That must be because TV3 "send" the file into Internet Explorer to do its preview. Now that said, I'm not sure what to do actually make it preview the file instead, but to avoid that dialog you can go in Configuration, Previewed formats & uncheck .rtf

Of course that is what i did, but i like previewing with trackerV3, it is more speedy like this (not for pdf file).

Hmm, maybe you have to check your security settings and set them to a more risky state (no risk, no fun).

I played a lil' bit with Folder Option in explorer and i unchecked
first option(sharpen in image;i forgot how is in english and i am to tired to find out) and now the dialog box doesn't appear anymore (duh), but when i select the doc or rtf (one click) it opens. And of course no preview in trackerV3. From iexplorer's point of view i understand, but...I don't know.
To much noise for nothing.

What happens when you drag a doc into an open IE window? It should be the same as previewing it with TV3. Theoretically...

Hmmmm....
Maybe my OpenOffice Active X is not working like it suppose to, no? Or the preview of TrackerV3 has nothing to do with ActiveX?

Ok, that's it! Open Office does not provide an Activ X control for doc files, only for odt (native format). Hmmm...
It is possibile to install Activ X for doc file without office?
