XY Hanging (Local)

Hi,

I have an issue continuing now over several months.

Sometimes, when I try to access a normal Drive or Folder, with nothing special in it, or if I try to make a copy of a small file or whatever, XY hangs for 10-90 seconds.
Some days it seems to be just fine, and some days I have it with almost every access to folders... ?!?

I had issues which felt like this before, but only when trying to access network locations that where currently not avaiable.
Now, the current problem is with Drives and Folders, seems it doesn't matter if local or network..

I have no Idea what this is.. I found no CPU/RAM-consuming process at the times this occurs..
Another Strange thing: Windows Explorer sometimes also behaves liek that now, but definitely not as often as XY does..

I can't think of anything what causes this, can you?

No, cannot think of anything. If you have ruled out the usual culprits (e.g. File Info Tips on AVI files) I would assume this is particular to your system.
