XYplorer Beta Club

XYplorer freezes when I use Firefox to open the Downloads folder (e.g. via "Show in Folder" or the Downloads panel). The only way to recover is to kill the process.

Details:

• Happens on two separate PCs

• Started a few weeks ago

• XYplorer CPU usage stays around 10% while frozen

• Does not freeze when opening the same folder via Windows Search or Everything

What I've ruled out:

• Not a folder-specific issue (Downloads opens fine from other apps)

• Not a general XYplorer instability (it works normally otherwise)

This looks like an interaction issue specific to how Firefox hands off folder paths to XYplorer.

XYplorer version: 28.30.0400
Windows 11
Display scaling 125%

Firefox 150.0.1 x64 & XYplorer 28.30.0400
with [x] XYplorer is default file manager for the current user scope

Can't reproduce, works flawlessly...

It doesn't happen all the time, just on some occasions, and I can't seem to pinpoint the exact steps
