Which setting controls whether newly created items are automatically renamed?

I created several custom entries under the “New Items” folder for convenience. When I right-click in the list view and select one of these items under “New Items”, it creates the file correctly using the template name. However, it does not enter rename mode afterward.

Ideally, I’d like it to behave like the default “New Folder” or “New Text File” options under the standard “New” menu (right above "New item"), where the filename is immediately selected for renaming after creation.

Is there a setting or tweak that enables automatic renaming for custom “New Items” entries as well?

"New Item" works as a pre-made template that is basically copied from that folder(not created as usual OS action).
Still you can automate process of "new item"(copy)+rename by making own script.
