[solved]I cannot prevent opening a file with one click

Hello, since the two last beta versions (28.30.0104), I meet a strange problem:
in thumbnails view, if I click on a thumbnail, the file is opened. I never had a behavior. I don’t meet the problem in list view. It’s like the thumbnail is considered as icon relatively to my settings.
It’s the same if I deactivate Point to select

Try to tick Configuration | Preview | Mouse Down Blow Up | Mouse Down on Thumbnails and Icons | On left mouse down

OK, I did not remember I changed this, but I’m quite surprised to see this result. There is no other way to prevent the file to open ?

It's the other way round: You enabled one-click-open, and MDBU has to overwrite it else it would not function. The real question is: why do you enable one-click-open but aren't happy when it happens?

Because I like the behavior in list mode

Very handy. I thought it would work the same in thumbnails mode : click on the icon to open it. So the icon is the entire thumbnail…

Okay, I see. However, some files, e.g. text files, don't show an icon in thumbnails view, even if "Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Show file icon on thumbnail" is checked. So, there would be at least two changes to be made, otherwise those file could not be opened with a single click.

I rethought and rewrote the whole thing. Should be fixed in next beta.

I updated today but the hover/select/open on icon only won’t work in thumbnail view - don’t know if it’s intended.

Cool, I like it. There is still a little glitch for "icon only" behavior in thumbnail mode :
select only when hovering only icon doesn’t work (the file is selected when hovering the thumbnail).

With the last version, the blow up is contained in XYplorer window - see capture - when quick click on the icon in thumbnail view.
