All Thumbnails in Folder Being Recreated, after moving a single file to another location.

I have folders with multiple PNG files. Thumbnails are created the first time I visit that folder. Then if I move one file out of that folder, I have to wait several minutes while thumbnails are created for all remaining files.
With a folder of 1000+ images to sort this can be pretty tedious.
Long time user, first time i've experienced this. No changes recently made - running 64 bit version 28.00.1200.

I tried with your settings and still can't reproduce the issue. Could you provide a screenshot of the entire window showing the situation in question?

I see it. But I cannot reproduce it.
Are you sure that your cache path (Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Cache path) exists and is writable?

It's pointing to the default folder c:\\users\\appdata\roaming\xyplorer\thumbnails
and the folder is loaded with multiple .dbits & .ini files, and one .txt

Looks good.
1) Do you get the same issue with the 32-bit version?
2) Try setting this tweak: CacheIgnoreModified=1

Here's how I tested
Changes made
Thumb cache cleared
Folder of 147 png / 937mb
Timed initial thumb creation
Test to see if all thumbs were recreated in the initial folder, after moving few files to another folder.
64-bit Clean Install - 21 sec initially / Recreated thumbs after move
64-bit Cacheignore=1 - 25 sec initially / Recreated thumbs after move *completely messed up the display scaling after config change
-64-bit version uninstalled-
32-bit Clean Install - 55 sec initially / Recreated thumbs after move - recreation happened in blocks with scrolling (create all at once checked in config) *display scaling still changed
32-bit Cacheignore=1 - 67 sec initially / Recreated thumbs after move - recreation happened in blocks with scrolling (create all at once checked in config) *display scaling still changed
Also tried to do same test with folder containing 289 png / 5.3 gb - was going past 3 min and esc wouldnt stop the process immediately.

1) So it's not a new thing.
2) You did not test
CacheIgnoreModified=1 ?
3) Display scaling? What has this to do with it?
4) "-64-bit version uninstalled-"? Why? Not necessary.
Thanks for testing. But I still have no clue what's going on. I also wonder about the extreme slowness of your thumbnail creation.

For what its worth...
Did a clean install of windows, that stopped the recreating of thumbs after moves.
Thumbs were still being created slow, so disabled avast and became dramatically better. (Even though i tried this prior to the clean install, with no effect)
