Sorry in advance if this has been asked before i did a quick search and only saw old posts, are the any ways or plans to browse zip folders and use them like regular folders. i know other file explorers do this but i am not willing to to try them i am XY exclusive so i was curious what the options were. if anyone knows please comment i would love to use zip folders, browse copy paste cut etc as if its like any other folder.

This has been asked before and the answer was and still is: not supported. :) This box never seemed interesting enough to me to open.

Thanks Don! appreciate the reply. Why it attracts me is zipping up tonnes of small files as you know is alot easier to copy, move and backup.

I have always liked the idea of having a heap of backups using the zip folder to modify the files and when i back them up it takes a fraction of the time.

Because my backups use checksum, running one checksum on a zip is much easier than a checksum of hundreds or thousands of tiny files.

You are not forced to use XY exclusively. :)

Hello.

I'm a TC user and I'm testing XYplorer (and xplorer2 too).

I find it very good in various functions but unfortunately one is missing which is basic for me (browsing and use compressed archives like regular folders), so I kindly ask just one question: will it be possible in the short or medium term to implement it?

Thank you

Best regards
