Since using the XYTB versions, I have been having several issues with XYVB:
1. Some time after loading XYVB, drag and drop ceases to function. It may be that XYVB loses focus or something, I don't know.
2. Context menus keep changing from XYVB to Windows. When showing XYVB Paste quite often disappears from the menu after having just Copied or Cut some files.
3. Drag and drop to/from other apps stops working randomly. I have tried several apps and once this issue starts, I literally can't perform this on anything.
4. Random crashing.
5. Default startup Tab often opens a duplicate instead of going to the already open version of the Tab.
6. Double clicking on items to open them sometimes doesn't work.

I have a pre XYTB backup, I'll try reverting.

Did you simply drop the TB.exe into the existing VB directory? If so, that hasn't been recommended.

Restore XY from your pre TB backup and then do the following...
Copy your VB installation into a new directory, delete or rename xyplorer.exe and xycopy.ece and then drop the new TB files (xyplorertb.exe and xycopytb.exe) into that newly created directory. You can create a desktop shortcut using XYplorerTB.exe and then launching the TB version from there. Never touching the VB version. TB version .0804 is the first version to include xycopytb.exe I believe.)

Yeah I did at first. Only a quick run though nothing extensive.
I've reinstated the pre-TB Data folder, see how it goes. I'll report back.

Started again from scratch with TB version 0805
Following the recommended procedure.

1. There are some very basic functions which don't work.
The toolbar layout is shortened.
If I enter Customize Toolbar and just say ok, it's displayed correctly
but on the next startup, it's shortened again.
Even saving a Layout doesn't help.
I have to load this after startup to restore the correct toolbar layout.

2. Selecting files are running slowly without any reason.

The VB version has no problems.

FYI: Haven't had any issues yet since reverting to previous settings.
