Hi,

I think this behavior started on version 27.00.0200.

I noticed that sometimes when copying files between folders/drives or even to the same folder (create a copy), the action never ends. If I close the app, reopen and try again it usually works.
I now noticed that the background job list shows the copy command, but its stays there in queue forever:
Loading Copy "C:\Users\....", target: "C:\Users\...\" Parallel. Initiated: 13-05-25 14:22:29

Upgrading to last version 27.00.0500 did not solve the problem.

I saw other posts on the forum mentioning problems related to copying files, I think they are all related to the one mentioned here.

Yes, it used to happen on every copy, but now, after the latest restart, this phenomenon disappeared completely.
If anything changes, I'll post again.

Hi, the problem just came back. I updated to latest (27.20.0100) and it continues. I'm using the portable version. My host is a win11. scaling is 125%.
here is a print screen of 2 times pasting a very light file (48kb). I will need to close XYplorer in order to terminate the copy process. I already copy and pasted using the os explorer... Thanks in advanced.

No, but I just tried and it happened. How can I help tracking the issue?

Use Task Manager to check if there are any stale XYcopy.exe processes hanging around and kill them.

Now it did not happen. I'm after a restart, if related. I'll post next it happens. Thanks.

In your screenshot, item #3 is all white??

yes, this is new - the selected item now does not show the details. I haven't restarted since it started, so maybe a temporary thing. I can see it also in other places like the preferences window.
BTW, (might be obvious) - if i cancel the background jobs, the copy/cut - paste works.

Hm. Strange. Currently I'm out of ideas. Let me know if you see a pattern.

As I cancelled the background jobs (which is a pity), I don't think I will witness it anymore.
But if I'll think of something, I'll let you know. Please do the same.
