XYplorer Beta Club

I am cleaning up an external drive, I select Delete to delete a whole folder, answer the prompts, wait while it calculates how long it will take, then for the next 4 or 5 minutes while the delete is running, I cannot do anything in XY, it seems the delete is being done in the main GUI thread rather than a background worker thread.

Is there some setting I am missing?

Enable this,

Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Background Processing | Enable background processing

and then press the "Apply to..." button next to it and enable Delete in the dialog.
