Shortcuts using Alt+numpad

Hello,
I use a shortcut alt+numpad9 as Go to specific location.
Sometimes I need to write to adress bar this symbol "\" that I input using alt+92. But as I hit alt+9 it triggers the shortcut even though adress bar is in keyboard focus.
I feel like these types of shortcuts should be inactive when adress bar is in focus. Is there a way to do so?
