Shortcut for activating adress bar?

Hi

Is there a shortcut for selecting adress bar for editing the location? I know I can use F6 to cycle between panels but that is too much work and guess work to just edit the location. I am also asking for this because it seems like I use shift enter to open the new location, it opens it in new tab which can kind of resolve my opening "go to" location in new tab.

thanks

Hi,

Under "Tools | Customize Keyboard Shortcuts" check the category "Miscellaneous". There you can find "Focus functions". One of them is "Focus address bar". I don't know what's the default shortcut for this. I changed mine to "F8".

Default is Ctrl+Alt+A (or AltGr+A)

That's right: holding Shift will open a location in a new tab in almost all XYplorer ways to go to a location.
