I want to split a large collection of photos as simply as possible by sending photos to subfolders. By marking each photo and then sending it to the subfolder later or by doing that every time. So I have a screen full of pictures, I use the arrow keys to stand on a picture and click on the letter a. That photo has a tag a. A few photos later I make a tag c and so on. Later, I can select all tagged a and move them to a folder to be specified. Is that possible with XYPlorer?

So, in phase 1, you want to visually check the image one at a time, and each time you press a specific key to tag it? Yep, that's possible. One way would be using User Defined Commands (menu User | Run Script | ...).

How many subfolders do you think you will need?
