No Auto Refresh

Using 25.90.0111 on Win10.
I'm fairly certain this is not a bug as the forum would be flooded with reports.
I use a screen capture program (ShareX) that automatically saves the capture file to D:\TempStuff, which is a locked tab. Previously the file would appear immediately after saving (assuming the locked tab had focus.) Recently I've noticed that the file does not appear on the locked tab. Pressing F5 does not make the file appear. If I navigate away from the locked tab, either to another tab or another directory in the tree and then go back to the locked tab, the file appears. MOST of the time. Sometimes it doesn't. I can force open another occurrence of the same directory and the file is there. Closing the new tab and going back to the locked tab usually shows the file.
I have completely exited XY and restarted it. I have rebooted Windows. I have rolled back to 25.90 and then to 25.80. The behavior remains the same.
I suppose it's possible I inadvertently changed a config setting, but I reviewed all the "refresh" settings and nothing jumps out at me as being incorrect.
Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks.
