v25.70.0101: speed breakthrough: heavy-duty tasks [...] now run much faster and smoother.
I am curious for some more details or "numbers"? For example, what does "much faster" mean?

Well, depends. Windows is still a multi-tasking OS. I saw a speedup of factor 10 with some of my regular backup operations. But it's not always that much.
What did I do? Well, I found the time to do this (and some other things on top of it):
