This might be impossible? (copy/paste issue...)

Hi,
I have 74 videos each in separate folders that I need to shrink in size using Handbrake. However, since Handbrake doesn't support scanning the content of multiple folder, I used this workaround...

I searched for "*.mp4", in the parent folder of those 74 subfolders containing the videos and copy/pasted them to a new folder to then send to Handbrake for 'shrinking'. (actually the folder structure is a bit more complicated, there are sub and sub-sub folders)
Now that's done, I want to send them back to their origin folder. I was hoping to just copy/paste the content of the destination Handbrake folder which now contains those 74 shrunken videos back to the tab which has the '*.mp4' search result which are still pointing to the origin folders of each video.
Unfortunately that doesn't work so I'm obviously going about it the wrong way but I even wonder if it's at all possible to achieve in just a few steps?

The alternative is daunting...copy/paste individually those shrunken videos individually back to their origin folder...74 times!

There is no way to "paste them back" into their original location

Script it (you should have done that in the first place anyway)...

Ok, thx for the reply.
Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to script it (funny how these days, it is assumed everyone knows how to code!)
