I know I've missed something somewhere but I'm stuck as to what it is. Why can't I get previews for SVG files?

In Configuration the following are checked:
Preview > Previewed Formats > Web Files
(I also tried unchecking Web Files and adding SVG to Preview as Thumbnail instead.)
Preview > Thumbnails > Show thumbnails for non-images
Information > File Tips & Hover Box > Show Hover Box > When hovering over the icon
Information > File Tips & Hover Box > Show Hover Box > Select Item Types > Web Files

The xyplorer.ini files has SVG included in Thumbs64Ext.

But I don't get thumbnails or previews anywhere:
Thumbnail views show the Microsoft Edge icon.
Preview Pane says Cannot preview.
Hover Box says Cannot decode.
I also don't get the thumbnails or previews in Windows Explorer - if that helps pinpoint the problem.

Because you don't have a .svg preview / thumbnail handler installed?

The MS Power Toys bring an SVG preview handler and a Thumbnail provider.
