'Send to' shortcut pointing to wrong folder?

Hi,
I created a shortcut for an app that I put in Windows' 'SendTo' folder so that I can use the 'Send To' feature in the context menu.
It works fine using Windows Explorer but if I try the very same thing in XY, I get an error showing it's trying to send the file to the wrong location.
The shortcut points to the .exe in the apps' folder located at C:\Program Files\AppName\App.exe while in XY it tries to open C:\Program Files (x32)\AppName\App.exe which results in the error?
Thanks in advance for any help!
