Just wanted to review the instructions for upgrading on the Wiki - I am pretty sure I can just install on top but wanted to check.

However, the Wiki does not load and just times out - can anyone confirm this?

yup, wiki is down. I have been trying since morning.
By the way, you can upgrade over the current XY install. But just in case have a back up of XY folder.
