I am new to xyplorer and have a few questions - Can I open a folder by clicking on it (like in windows explorer)? (very irritating) and also I cannot seem to delete files - I have to open old win explorer to do it. ? Is this a setting or am I doing something wrong - so far I like the program, but frequently I find some simple thing that I cannot do.

Are you talking about single-clicking an item?
Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Mouse | [x] Single-click to open an item

I cannot seem to delete files

Maybe be a bit more specific? How are you trying to delete them, what exactly happens when doing so?

I double click on a folder and it usually goes up rather than down.

Delete issue - I select an item (pdf or image) hit keyboard delete or right click delete and nothing happens - I have to delete it in win explorer. (I am using trial version)

Ok - single click fixed the opening issue - still cannot delete

Cannot delete... can you tell us a little more about the experience? Where/How do you try to delete and what happens?
