Hover & XY64content.exe error

Help! I am a very new user. I just got my license on April 1st, before that I had the free trial version for 30 days. I wanted to test that XYplorer would work with my 64 bit word and excel files. I am using Windows 11.
I was able to hover and see all the files, including 64 bit. The files I use most, include docx, xlsx, pdf, jpg and mov. I went from the trial version (25.20) to the licensed version which I updated to 25.20.0500 and then tried to preview 64 bit files. I can’t make it work for 64 bit files. I keep getting the XY64contents.exe error (attached). Pdf and jpg continue to work fine. I am sure it is just operator error in what I have ticked.
I have realized that there are thousands of combinations from the pages I know I have changed. They include: Configuration/General/Tree & List, Configuration/Information/File Info Tips & Hover Box, Configuration/Other/Shell Integration, and Tools/Customize Tree (Right Click). If anybody has 64 bit preview working I would appreciate screen shots (example attached from Horst comments of 1/24/21 to: “No Preview Available”) of the pages above and any others necessary for 64 bit to work.

1) You forgot to attach the screenshots.

2) You can always go back to older versions and compare settings: https://www.xyplorer.com/freezer.php

3) You cannot go forward to future versions, eg 25.20, though. See thermodynamics time travel...

Attachments should be there.

I will try to your other suggestions. I do not remember what I ticked however to make 64 bit hover work.

Try a fresh instance and see if that works. To open a fresh instance from your current instance (and stay in the same location) execute this through the address bar: freshhere;

The "freshhere;" command was brilliant. I now have everything working. I still don’t know what I ticked wrong, but I can now figure that out.
