Thanks jupe for the reference to the earlier thread. And thanks to WirlyWirly for the post therein and the icon which I now use. - one cosmetic issue, against a light background the X of the XY inside the two circular arrows does not appear. Against a dark background it is great.

Without modifying the icon, you could make it look a bit better in light mode by suffixing "*#282828" to the end of the icon filename in the CTB definition, eg xyupdate.ico*#282828
