I hope I am not alone here, half of the commands in favorite menu (I am talking about the toggle series) are quite confusing, and IMHO can only be understood by reading the manual / or experiment.
Maybe just use the description from manual "mark/unmark folder as favorite" "mark/unmark highlight on branch" "mark/unmark box on branch"
It is not very elegant, but at least it conveys the information.
I think when you put translation into consideration, the current vague meaning of these commands would cause even more problems.

Re: Confusion - favorites menu
I meant these:
all commands starting with toggle
For example "toggle favorite folder" actually means "mark/unmark current folder as favorite", and "toggle boxed branch" actually means "put a box around the current brunch / make the box disappear".
It's just a suggestion though.

Yes. Is something wrong about the English? I heard no complaints for many years...

Re: Confusion - favorites menu
Errr IMHO it is not very intuitive. I think for any new user, it would be very unlikely that they understands what it means by only looking at the text on these commands. If these commands could be more intuitive, it would be less overwhelming, especially for new users.
But I guess for experience users, it would not be a problem. It is kinda survivor's prejudice.
And if you factor in the translation, it could be even more confusing. Like in Chinese these commands roughly means "switch favorite folder" which make no sense at all. And it is not the Chinese translation at fault, there is simply not a very appropriate way to say "toggle".

I'm always open to improvements, but "mark/unmark folder as favorite" ... I don't know. English mother tonguers should comment...

Re: Confusion - favorites menu
Not a huge deal to me, but I think the problem is the wording, "Toggle Favorite Folder" leads one to believe the folder is already a favorite. Well, it may not be. You could use "mark/unmark", but honestly, I don't see a big problem sticking with the use of "toggle", but the wording probably should be, "Toggle current folder as a Favorite" or "Toggle folder as a Favorite folder" or something similar.

Re: Confusion - favorites menu
This wording is so old, the documentation online and offline so huge, and nobody ever complained. I say keep it. Totally not worth the costs.

No problem here. Like I said, just a suggestion. You probably have more important things to do.
