XY-copy and context menu

Post by AnM »

Hi.
XY-copying is activated. If you copy via the XYplorer context menu, the XY-copy window appears. But if you select the menu-windows, then copying will occur not through XY-copying, but through copying the operating system. Windows 8.1 operating system.
Question: Is this how it should be? Why does the operation of XY-copying depend on the selection of the menu through which copying is selected?

What do you mean by "if you select the menu-windows"? Which command is that?

I assume you talk about the Paste command from the 64-bit shell context menu?

The operating system is Win 8.1 x64 ... that's right)) I'm talking about the "copy" command via "drag and drop".. and at the same time, the context menu of Win 8.1 is used. And by the way, if you use "copy- paste" even from the context menu of Win 8.1, then XY-copying appears here

That menu is owned by the shell and not intercepted. The shell will do what the shell does (in this case: Windows standard copy).

Thanks for the clarification )

A compact Windows 8 context menu would be enough for me. But XY-copying is more important.

It is a pity that this feature is not specified in the settings. For a long time I could not understand why, for some reason, copying from Win8 still works for me when XY-copying is activated ))
