Let me disable items in "Rename Preview" window

Despite my breathtaking skill in crafting rename expressions, I will admit to many occasions when it's not quite right. I discover this after I've selected a bunch of files to rename and have moved to the "Rename Preview" window. To fix this I must note down which files shouldn't be changed, then either:

1) go ahead with the change, and afterwards fix the wrongly-changed files manually, or
2) cancel the change, and begin again by leaving those files out of the selection.

It would be very nice instead if, in the Preview window, I could select and "disable" the change for those files. That would let me continue directly.
