To disable seconds when the "Show Age" option is enabled

This is an old version of the question. See the updated version below.

It would be nice to have an option to display the date when the file was modified (or created / accessed) in a relative way.

That is, instead of 2022-03-05 13:00 it will be something like 9 hours 53 minutes ago

Of course,

1. we don't really need the word "ago",
2. the words "hours" and "minutes" can be abbreviated

------ UPDATE: ------

As jupe suggested, I can simply enable the "Show Age" option. However, there is no way to disable seconds, so if you have modified some file, the time will be updated each second you move the mouse cursor. This distracts a lot.

So what I really want is the option to disable seconds when the "Show Age" is enabled.

Right click date column header, select "Show Age", or Ctrl+Shift+E.

And why is this only "partly" solved?

You are free to create your own custom date column in which ever format you like most...

Did I understand your idea correctly?

1. to create a custom column
2. to place there a script
3. when I open the directory, the script will take the "Date Modified" of each file and convert this date in a relative one like x hrs y mins (without seconds)

I see, thanks. But maybe it will be better to move this thread back to Wishes?
