Network Locations from This PC

Hello,
I posted in another section asking how I might enable network locations to display from the This PC window in XY. Another user informed me that this wasn't possible, therefore I'd like to make a formal request of the feature.
I'd like to request the ability to add Network Locations (and/or maybe even custom folder shortcuts) to the This PC window in XY.
For those of us who don't use the Tree/Catalogs and have them disabled, This PC is our gateway to switching between drives and navigating our file-system. It'd be efficient to have easy/quick access to network locations from this window, like the built-in windows explorer offers.
Perhaps even taking it a step further and allowing the This PC window to be split into sections and custom folder shortcuts to be added to a specific section, kind of like how the windows explorer has its own Folders section, as can be seen in the screenshot below. Essentially more customization options for this often used special folder.
