Thanks, good to know, time to update the website. :)

BTW, does the Windows version show correctly in Help | Various Information?

In Various Information, XYplorer has
OS: Windows 10 Windows 10, 64-bit, Release 2009, Build 22471.1000, .NET v4.8.04161
That Build number is correct but it has Windows 10. I joined the Insider program a while ago, but I held off in getting it. The desktop is stamped and reflects the same info as Windows System > About.
Windows 11 Home Insider Preview
Evaluation Copy. Build 22471.rs_prerelease 210929-1415
I believe it's the latest build even though it was obtained through the Insider Program. XYplorer is running fine and startup times are the same.

They weren't even able to classify the release version correctly? Have fun, when Win finally adopts the subscription model. Pay endlessly for a beta OS...

Who knows what MS is doing, but I just downloaded that so-called prerelease version yesterday, Oct 10 so I have to believe even though they are continuing to call it prerelease even after the "official" release, it is actually later than the "official" release based on the build.

In the next version you can see the exact version info by doing text <get os>;.

text <get os>;
Windows 11 Windows 10, 64-bit, Release 2009, Build 22471.1000 (10.0)
10.0.22471.2. - 0.0.768.1.0
See what Horst has since he has an official release. Help > Various info read the same.

Yes, and this is a cut and paste from various Information.
OS: Windows 11 Windows 10, 64-bit, Release 2009, Build 22471.1000, .NET v4.8.04161

Ironically it's kind of true. I was able to tell, with the help of web gossip about the secret meaning of the build number, that it is Windows 11, but the official version number is 10.0, so yes, it is "Windows 11 Windows 10".
