Now what you need to do is pop it UP rather than down so that the commands can be seen as I scroll through the categories using the keyboard (not the mouse).

Nice, pity you hadn't implemented that a couple of days ago when I was searching large lists of files and wanted to look at them as they were found.
However, I'm not sure if I like it - it's very "lumpy". Scroll and preview reaction don't respond very well because the find function is taking priority. This means that a file can be selected (and is highlighted) but the preview panel does not respond immediately so the incorrect data is shown then a delay before the correct data.

UP: difficult.
lumpy: okay, that's the price for it... if more folks agree that it's too lumpy I'll turn it off again...

I found a way!! Move the CKS window near the bottom of the screen and that forces the drop down panel up!. Unfortunately, I can't then see all the Commands so it doesn't really help.

Not sure I got it right, or maybe you want to have the list of all Categories shown, but otherwise just focus the dropdown and use up/down to browse through categories, you will then see all comands since the list of categories isn't shown... (and it's just the menus, plus Misc, to just look at the menubar if you're lost

)
