You NEVER add the base tweak line - it gets generated when you update to the vers that it was added in and then save your settings as it says in that post, ok?

By interpolation and supposition based on the my existing xyplorer.ini, is it TRUE that TAFNoRepeatCharCycle=1 can be inserted anywhere?
I'm surprised that my original unedited xyplorer.ini already contains numerous tweaks.
All Don's tweaks (I presume) appear to be placed randomly in the xyplorer.ini.

Not sure where Don put it -but- as i said, we as users NEVER insert a tweak line into INI! All we do is set desired value for the key AFTER it gets added by updating to beta/official vers that implemented it!
