Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
Sorry, but this is becoming totally ridiculous.
CookieMonster, it might be about time to try another file manager. This one obviously does not work for you.
Bye,
Don

Color Filter most relevant filters.SammaySarkar wrote:you've repeatedly said color filters are not showing up, and we believe you. There's no reason to post screenshots for that single fact again and again.
We're trying to help you figure out why color filters aren't working.
Nobody asked you to post proofs of color filters not showing up, yet you keep doing that.
on the other hand, we've repeatedly asked you to post a screenshot of the color filter config but you've put your foot down on not doing that.

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
Very good! *claps*
Was that very difficult, I hope you didn't injure yourself.
Anyways
Now please try this experiment.
(with some known junctions)
Go to C:\ .
The folder/item named "Documents and Settings" is colorized pink, like a junction, right?
If there's no such item in C:\, go to C:\Users, there should be some items colorized line junction, right?

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
make sure the view mode is set to details. Then the colorization can be detected easily. (while rows will be colorized)
Are the other color filters working, if not the junction one?

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
The attr:junction is at the top of the color filter list, the column junction target is shown but I don't see anything notifying me that the files are junction\hardlinks ?SammaySarkar wrote:make sure the view mode is set to details. Below the junction Target column, if there are two hard links / junctions what should be listed ?

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
You have to be in DETAILS view to see anything under columns.
