Put "Ariana Grande,Miley Cyrus,Lana Del Rey - Don’t Call Me Angel.mp3" into a new folder with normal columns (no audio columns). Then select the file and preview it using Info Panel / Preview tab. Do you get the same error?

I had the same thought and set my Windows to the Chinese locale, but I still got no error.

if you don't mind, you can install a Windows Chinese version.

There is something else involved, maybe a broken codec pack?

Do you get exactly the same error (pList@0) with v28.10.0102?

Untick Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Usability | Highlight hovered items.
Still errors?

No, it doesn't show error unless I switch to the audio column layout.

Hmm. Looks like it's two separate errors. That both only happen for one user. Weird.

I get this error message on a clean installation of Windows with nothing installed.
I downloaded the Chinese version of Windows from here.magnet:?xt=urn:btih:f4b9c52702977f4fef673ae11bc93c9a5c180a45&dn=zh-cn_windows_11_business_editions_version_25h2_updated_nov_2025_x64_dvd_6ae389e3.iso&xl=7784964096
By the way, it took me 2 hours to download and install Windows, something you did not attempt.

This is a pretty serious issue. It affects many music files, not only the “Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey – Don’t Call Me Angel” file I sent you.

Downloading and installing a Chinese Win 11 version? Nope...
