But isn’t it legitimate to want to move one or more files in single-pane mode using a keyboard shortcut and then have them displayed afterward?

I know there are many ways to achieve the same result in XY (viele Wege führen nach Rom).
Of course, I could also work in dual-pane mode and move the files that way. But I’m a bit in love with the move mode and just wanted to enhance it by chaining it with additional commands.

The prompt should remain exactly as it is — it has already “saved” me more than once.
