I noticed a bug here earlier that gets the behavior you are talking about, but when you gave this reply I assumed you had pressed Ctrl+X and disabled this, and not re-enabled it again so I considered it not the issue at hand anymore, but you must have then subsequently re-enabled it again, so now I assume you are seeing this:


If so then try again, press Ctrl+X once when the Hoverbox is showing, then press F1 again and make sure that message has gone away, then go onto just pressing O when viewing a Folder Content Preview HoverBox that has multiple items listed (not just a single image/doc etc.)

Did you even look at the animated screenshot I just provided earlier, it should answer this clearly! As well as the screenshots in the link I provided initially, that also provided exact steps to show the correct FCP HoverBox.

Make sure when you attempt these suggestions you are hovering a FOLDER (with more than 1 item listed) like in the animated screenshot i provided. Don't attempt pressing O when only a image/doc HoverBox is displayed, because that won't work.
