Sounds like a good solution to me! If this works as expected, I suspect we will see a reduction in both confused users and posts/threads here asking why.

Just tried it out and seems to work just as I'd hoped! I temporarily removed a std KS and then used new opt to restore it without affecting my custom KS...which simulates the new release situation...thanks so much!
