Okay, the next beta is on the way. Error #9 should be history then.

If your Recent folder is empty in XY, does this return anything useful?

It returned "No data" for me on Windows 11. (Latest update as of today, turned numlock off on bootup again even though it's on in the BIOS, dam Microsoft).

And you don't have Quick Access at the top of the tree as shown in this screenshot?:

I just discovered that my "Quick Access" was renamed "Home". I don't remember doing that, but I may have done it years ago using WinaeroTweaker. So yes, I have it, but it was renamed.

Does it have contents, and where is the real path?

Home just seems to be a name used for Quick Access in the nav panel. based on the pic below. Going through the Explorer tree, I can't find anything labeled as Home or Quick Access. When I get a chance later, I may try to get the Quick Access name back.

Edit: ...and all the applicable Explorer context menus still say, "Pin to Quick Access" or "Remove from Quick Access'

Hi Horst, that's good to know. So maybe I hadn't renamed it. I noticed in WinAeroTweaker, it was called "Home" and it provides an option to rename it but renaming it doesn't work even after restarting Explorer and even after a cold bootup. I'm on the latest of Windows 11, but no longer on Insider updates.
So based on that, I'm not going to try some registry tweaks to rename it to Quick Links or whatever.

Win10 x64 and the current beta .0413:
Entering "%USER%\Recent" in the address bar works OK now. I no longer get Error 9. XY navigates to my "C:\Users\[Username]\Recent" folder. It displays this in the List with purple title bar "Virtual Folder: Recent".
That folder FYI contains only a file I accessed yesterday, so nothing very recent. But no anomalies at least.

Any news on weather Windows "Quick Access" functionality will be added to the XYPlorer Tree?

Figured i'd add my 2 cents cause I was looking into this. It could be that my solution doesn't exist in that version though since it was a long time ago.
So they have a folder called Rapid Access that is fairly similar to Quick Access. It's meant to be for folders, but if you right click it and choose Manage you can add a file. If you click on it, it will treat it as a folder and say it is invalid. But if you right click and choose open then it will open the file.
Idk if there's a better solution where it treats it as a file and not a folder but this is the best I could figure out. And idk how to have recent files and folders show up like in Quick Access. Let me know if anyone knows how to do these things.
