OT: How do you make your icons?

Don, what software(s) do you use to make the icons for XY? Every once in a while I find the need to make one for my company's software. The problem is I'm not much of a graphic artist and if there's some easy, yet powerful, icon making software (aka, the XYplorer of icon software) I'd like to give it a try. Thanks!

I just do everything in Photoshop. If you mean the toolbar icons, they are no ICO files technically but just bitmaps. I do the transparency within XY the hard way.

For real ICO work (which I rarely do) I use IcoFX.
