Mouse down always centered

Post by noembryo »

There must be something that I don't get here..
I use these setting for Mouse down blow up
x1.png
and I except to preview the image I right-click at the side of the screen I click the thumbnail.
But, what is happening is that it opens always centered.
Checking the centered option does not change anything.
Am I even looking at the right setting?
How can I make the preview open where the mouse is (like it does when hovering over the thumbnail)?
Any info will be appreciated..🙏

Untick Configuration | Preview | Mouse Down Blow Up | General | Shrink to fit. It centers all images that have to be shrunk to fit.

Hmm.. But then, I'll see only part of the image (if bigger than screen)..
It is much better now, even if it's centered.
Why is the "Shrink to fit" always center the image?
The reason I want it to follow the mouse is to save some screen real estate (if XYplorer is at the left, the image covers XYplorer and I can still see the other open windows.
What it could also work is to remember were the last preview was opened (since I can drag the preview image to the side I want)..

Anyway, not a big deal, thank you for the help..🙏

The shrunk dimension has to be centered anyway, and the other dimension is centered to create an overall predictable experience.
