:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

CFI for mounted network drives doesn't work in the tree properly

Post by jupe »

x86/x64 both affected.

When using a CFI for a mapped network drive eg T:\><xy> then it seems to show ok in the tree, but only until you click on it, from then on I get the generic OS network drive with the green cable under it icon.

In the GIF below you will notice the correct red white CFI icon is showing in the AB/TAB/BC, and why the icon is flashing in the tree is I am repetitively doing a "Reset Tree" to illustrate that it shows the correct icon temporarily before the wrong icon is shown again, same as if I launch XY, the correct CFI icon is shown = until I click on the drive in the tree.

I forgot to mention to repro in fresh, the default empty folder CFI entry must be enabled, as well as this:

Configuration | General | Safety Belts, Network | Network | [x] Assume that mapped network drives are available

If immediately after config changes, if the icon doesn't go to the generic network icon immediately, it may require selecting in the tree and a Shift+F4 or Ctrl+Sft+F4 then toggle to/from the drive.

So to repro, requires above setting, and the following script should setup and enable CFI in fresh if req:

Code: Select all

seticons("+*\ /e><xypath>\XYicon_FolderEmpty.ico<crlf>+T:\><xy>", s); #505;

Yep. Should be fixed in next beta.
