For some time now, Windows 11 has offered the option of treating a connected mobile phone as a ‘directory’, or rather as a remote folder.
In the original explorer, this works without a problem.
XYplorer does not ‘see’ this folder, which is actually in C:/%user%/CrossDevice.
If you use this directory, XYplorer automatically downloads the contents of the mobile to the PC... which is obviously not practical... What's more, the thunbails seem to be inaccessible (certainly a question of rights).
Implementing management would be useful...
Thanks

Could you elaborate? AFAIK XY does not automatically trigger file operations. If you use this directory, XYplorer automatically downloads the contents of the mobile to the PC...

Re: CrossDevice - Mobile connected
I guess so. If I click on one of the sub-directories on my mobile (pic1), the contents of that directory are automatically downloaded to the PC (pic2)...
This obviously doesn't happen with files from my nas, for example, or from the cloud (unless I ask to keep a local copy, of course).

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

A full screenshot would have been more helpful. Anyway, it looks like you are showing thumbnails. Does the download start also in Details view?

Nope, you're right... only in thumbails mode...
Do you think it's possible to correct that... in the 'native' explorer, i have the thumbails view.. but no download of the full file (like for ex.. in one drive or other cloud folder)...
What's more, in the native explorer, the mobile appears as a drive... not in xyplorer... (of course you can always create a shortcut or bookmark to the link, but native mobile support would be nice)

Re: CrossDevice - Mobile connected
1) The downloads-on-demand for cloud files in thumbnail view should stop in the next beta. (No more thumbnails unless there are cached ones)
2) That's weird. You mean a real drive with a letter? Are you maybe using the Mini Tree?
