[SOLVED] Thumbs for symbol files (.ico) are not displayed correctly

Post by TomPiXX »

I use PicView to view my symbol files (.ico) and MysticThumbs system-wide to generate previews.

Unfortunately, the symbols are no longer displayed as such in XYplorer as soon as I set PicView as the viewer, but only if I set the standard Windows 10 app.
However, this is not an option for me.

How can the problem be solved?

Best regards

Tom

Really? Not here. Which version of XY are you using?

Do you see the same with a fresh version (paste fresh; into the address bar and press ENTER)?

After some researches it seems that the Google Drive Sync App messes up icon thumbs and previews.
Took me some time to find out.

Without the app it works.
