Drag & Drop or delete with preview panel open

Hello, is there a solution to avoid having to close the preview panel if I want to drag and drop (to an email for example) or delete a file? Indeed if the preview panel is open, I always get a message that tells me that it is impossible because the file is open. So we have to close the panel and start again...
