how can I find files which contains for instance the following special chars : [1]
or which contains a double space [ ] ?
Please a simple answer, for a non very advanced user (and French speaking).

In which way is [1] a special char?
Apart from that, by entering it into the content search box?

Two ways:
1) Escape the brackets by \:
OR
2) Turn off Configuration | Find and Filter | Find Files & Branch View | Find Files | Enable extended pattern matching

well, I tried and it doesn't work.
I created in purpose a mswork file in which I wrote [1]
and the search didn't find it.

Could you show a screenshot of the entire XYplorer window with the file in question and the Find Files tab right before you press the Find Now button.
