I feel that I've asked this question before and it had been answered, but I can't find it via a forum search.
I have customized several keyboard shortcuts in the past. Simple, go to various directories shortcuts. I can't figure out how to add a new one. I've looked through Help and searched the user guide and they do is show the various functions of the Customize Keyboard Shortcuts window/dialog. I feel like there should be an "add" button. I understand how to edit an existing custom keyboard shortcut but I don't see how to -add- a new one.
Thanks.

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
There is a "Press new shortcut" string field (and an "Assign" button once defined) in the "Customize Keyboard Shortcuts" dialog window?

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
When you are in Customize Keyboard shortcuts, first select the Category of the keyboard shortcut (in the upper left box) like File or View, next select the command from the list in the Commands box below. After selecting which command you want a shortcut, select "Press new shortcut". Think of this as the "add". It's in that box that you would press the key or key combination you want for that particular command. So, say you selected "Dark Mode" under Category "View", so you have a shortcut for Dark Mode. Click in the "Press new shortcut" box, then simply press, alt-D (or whatever keyboard combo you desire) and then click the "Assign" button and OK to exit the Customize Keyboard Shortcuts dialog.
Oops highend beat me to it.

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
Thanks highend and klownboy. I've gotten closer, but there's still one stumbling block that's probably right in front of me.
I'm selecting the User category. I'm using the Go To command. I enter SHIFT-ALT-3 in the Press new shortcut field. The Assign button lights up. What I'm not seeing is where I select the directory that I'm assigning the Go To command to go to.
Currently under the Go To command I have the directories that I have set up previously.
I feel like my doctor told me to take one stupid pill a day and I've taken three and am overdosing.

Re: Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
You can manage the location, and the shortcut for UDC's via
User | Manage Commands...
the CKS window is mainly meant for inbuilt commands.
