selected files
If I select a group of folders, then tell XY to move them elsewhere and it finds there is an existing file with the same name on the destination, I can tell it to skip that file.
It used to be that when that process finishes, I would end up with a group of files that remained selected.
I noticed in the last few versions (sorry, I am not sure when) those files do NOT remain selected.
Is this a setting I screwed up? I found the "old" behavior very helpful.

Re: selected files
Yes. I use to be able to treat them as a group (move, delete, whatever) but now they are no longer selected after.

Re: selected files
This is happening again (the last few versions...). Is it fixable again?

Re: selected files
Confirmed, probably. I'm not aware of any changes that could have caused this.
1) What is your setting here: Configuration | General | Refresh, Icons, History | Auto-Refresh | Refresh during file operations
2) You don't know by chance with which version it started?

Re: selected files
And "Refresh during file operations" was always ticked, also when it still worked as you wish?

Re: selected files
ATM I cannot see what causes it. Unticking "Refresh during file operations" will solve your issue. Why not just do it?

Re: selected files
Tested it now with v23.90.0407 - 2023-01-07 20:12 (just a random pick) and this works just like today's version. So I don't know what you mean by "the last few versions..." but nothing changed here since 2023-01-07. The fix was on 2022-11-20.
