Mouse DOwn Blow Up and Editing Text Files

Besides using the 'Show Preview' menu bar command, is there a 'Mouse Down Blow Up' that works with text files too?

Second question - is there an option that would allow me to edit basic text files within XYPlorer interface instead of double clicking on the file to launch a 3rd party text editor to do the editing. A nice feature would be to allow editing of basic text files using the Preview pane, or the mouse-blown-up window.

It was for me and I now have a button on my Toolbar which opens any (most) files using the editor of my choice (EditPad Lite).

MDBU for txt files works by default.
Editing in the preview pane can only work if you have installed a preview handler
which supports this. This is not the case for most preview handlers I know.
It also doesn't make sense for me, there are enough ways to start editing the current file.
