I'll keep it brief:
Copying items from the search results to my clipboard, and then going through the "Paste Special" context menu to "Paste Text as Item(s)" is no longer also copying the folders in which those files are stored.
I had been using this feature to, among other things, temporarily move out files with a specific file extension to another folder (without me having to manually recreate the entire folder structure which was a massive time-saver considering there are thousands of files in a multitude of folders), and until literally yesterday this feature was working fine, so I'm not sure what happened or if might've, perhaps, accidentally disabled some setting (which I haven't found in the configurations menu as of yet) by unknowingly pressing its respective keyboard shortcut...
Nothing in my PC has changed since when this feature worked correctly, including my XYplorer version or other installed software/Windows updates, so I'm kind of lost as to how and why this feature suddenly stopped working for me.
Thank you all in advance for your help.

Begs the question why you would use "Paste Text as Item(s)" to move items...

Re: Pasting items from clipboard is no longer copying the folders
To be honest, I have no deep explanation for this other than that's just how I've always done it. Entirely possible there is a better way of doing it but this is how I initially learned how to maintain the folder structure when copying files from the search results after doing a quick search on this forum... It had been working perfectly for me until recently so I never considered trying a different/better way, if there is one.
I've also tried copying files normally and then using the "Paste (Copy) Here with Path" option but that also just moves all of the copied files into a single folder which I don't know if that's what it was intended to do, but it does not achieve what the "Paste Text as Item(s)" method used to for me.

Wow! That's what I was missing!
At some point, I must've mindlessly clicked on something that set it to "Never". Changing it back to "Ask" allowed me to regain the function again.
Thank you so much for your help!
